Tesla Inc. (NASDAQ:TSLA) cars are fast and safe, but not everyone has a chance to drive them. The vehicles are expensive and not everyone can afford them, but the company is coming up with an affordable sedan Model 3 that will have a starting price of $35,000 only. Tesla, on the other hand, is starting off a new competition, through which some lucky people will get a chance to go for test driving in Europe.

According to Electrek, Tesla has started a competition called "The Greatest Drive," through which people would drive Model S P100D or Model X P100D, the performance variant of the models on some of the greatest driving roads in Europe. However, the competition is only for European market i.e. Ireland, Germany, Netherland, UK, Sweden, Switzerland, France, Belgium, Austria, Finland, Denmark, Portugal, and others.

Tesla on its webpage for the new competition wrote, "Enter The Greatest Drive and be one of the first to test drive a Model S P100D or Model X 100D on some of the greatest driving roads in Europe. This prize includes a suggested driving route plus 3 nights at Destination Charging hotels, to be used during your journey. Sign up for your chance to experience an unforgettable road trip. If you’d like to share the experience with a friend, nominate a co-driver to join you."

The carmaker has already started to take entries for the project, and the deadline for submission is the end of the month. To take part in the competition, people need to answer a simple skill-based question and explain "what makes a drive great." People need to make a profile on Tesla’s website to sign up with the minimum age to enter the competition set at 25.

The program is similar to what Tesla has been doing in the past by using its fans and owners for promotional campaigns. The car company also came up with a Drive to Believe campaign so that people can swap their current Tesla vehicle for a new one.
