Pokemon GO's Holiday Event Comes to an End

Published By News Desk at January 9, 2017 06:54 am Now would be the perfect time to release more Pokemon

The augmented reality game for the iOS and Android devices called Pokemon GO, has finally ended its holiday event. This means that players will no longer be able to find Charmander, Squirtle, and Bulbasaur spawning at the same rate which they did during the event. We believe it is time to go back to regular Pokemon catching now.

Not only this, but Lure Modules will also go back to being 30 minutes instead of an hour. This will make players use Lure Modules more frequently now, investing some decent amount of money in the game again. Lure Modules, Lucky Eggs, and Incubators are the only three items that are a necessity for players if they wish to get all the Pokemon in their region fast, while also rapidly increasing their trainer level.

The New Year event was the best event in the game so far as it gave players the opportunity to catch all the three starter Pokemon of Kanto that are hardly ever found in the area. With the tracking system finally fixed in Pokemon GO, catching the three critters was not at all a problem. Although we would have been happier if the spawn rate of Venusaur, Blastoise, and Charizard also increased.

In other related news, the mobile analyst firm “Sensor Tower” found out that the revenue level of Pokemon GO has gone up due to the recent holiday event. This means that players have been quite busy in hunting down and catching the three Kanto Pokemon, while also using Incubators to hatch the seven Generation II baby Pokemon; Igglybuff, Magby, Pichu, Cleffa, Elekid, Togepi, and Smoochum.

Unlike Super Mario Run, which got more downloads more quickly than Pokemon GO, it hit a hard cap on revenue straight away. Pokemon GO, on the other hand, is nowhere near Super Mario Run and has made its stronghold at the top.
