While the tech world cannot get enough of Apple Inc's (NASDAQ:AAPL) next-gen flagship iPhone, iPhone 8, the company is tipped to launch another major project alongside its upcoming ‘tenth-anniversary’ iPhone. According to rumors, the tech company will launch its next Apple Watch brand, Apple Watch 3, along with its next flagship iPhone.
The iPhone maker launched its popular Apple Watch, Apple Watch Series 2, on the same day that it unveiled its iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. Such events have generated rumors that the company will look to repeat history and introduce its next-gen smartwatch offering alongside its ‘tenth-anniversary’ iPhone model.
Apple deserves appreciation for the necessary upgrades it introduced on the Apple Watch Series 2 as compared to the original Apple Watch. Not only does the current Apple Watch sport a brighter display screen, but the smartwatch device is also incorporated with a radically faster processor as compared to the original Apple Watch.
Apple is expected to introduce similar upgrades in its next Apple Watch offering. Also, recent speculation has suggested that the tech company will incorporate a longer-lasting battery life in its next-gen Apple Watch. The arrival of updated software on the Apple Watch 3 should further enhance the processing speed and battery life of the upcoming smartwatch device.
As things stand, Apple is expected to roll out its next iPhone brand during its upcoming traditional September event. Hopefully, the highly popular iPhone 8 will not be the only major announcement Apple makes.
