Destiny Update 2.6.0.2 Fixes Never-Ending Matches and More

Published By News Desk at April 21, 2017 08:23 am The new destiny update has a lot in store for players

Earlier yesterday, Bungie started rolling out the 2.6.0.2 update to Destiny on the Xbox One and PS4. The newest patch brings a slew of small changes along with a critical fix. We’ve gotten a hold of the detailed patch notes, so read on to find out exactly what the new patch has in store for you.

The critical fix that we were talking about points to the issue where Elimination matches would go on forever, simply refusing to end. In the cases where players were killed soon after they were revived, the elimination matches wouldn’t end there and then. This was naturally leading to a lot of frustration amongst players.  The bug is most frequented in games with high latency, and you would only be able to leave once all the members had quit. With the new update, this issue has been completely sorted out.

Other minor issues were also addressed like raids crashing when a player spawned with Knuckles of Eao equipped. The update also “Fixed an issue where some Flawless Trials of Osiris runs prior to the Rise of Iron Release were not being counted in the Record Book. Added invisible physics to prevent players from standing outside the intended playable space on Rusted Lands”.

For the rest of the changes, here are the complete patch notes from Bungie’s official website.
