Bungie's Weekly Reset for Destiny January 10 Has Arrived

Published By News Desk at January 10, 2017 05:03 am Changes can be seen in Nightfall, Challenge of the Elders, and Crucible

Destiny’s weekly reset has just arrived, bringing changes to the weekly Nightfall strike, Heroic playlist modifiers, crucible playlists, and much more. New Iron Lord artifacts will also be available with Tyra Karn, if players need some extra help on their missions. The four factions in the game also demand something new from the players.

In this week’s Nightfall strike, players will be taking on The Wretched Eye, and the modifiers for it are Brawler, Fresh Troops, Match Game, and Exposure. For the uninitiated, Brawler will increase melee damage you deal, Fresh Troops will make your enemies call for reinforcements, Match Game will make it difficult to break the enemy’s shields unless they are attacked with the same element, and Exposure increases your shields but they don’t refill. The Heroic playlist modifiers are; Void Burn, Small Arms and Fresh Troops. And in this week’s Wrath of the Machine raid challenge, Vosik has made a return.

Tyra Karn will be waiting for players in the Iron Temple. Those who wish to gain an Iron Lord artifact can visit her anytime. Tyra Karn will only give you one Iron Lord’s Legacy per week, so if you need all three of them, then you must have at least three characters. This week, you have a choice between:

  • Memory of Felwinter: Players will lose their Super but gain an additional Grenade along with a Melee charge.
  • Memory of Timur: Players have a slight chance of making enemies, which are low-powered, fight them as it will only last for 30 seconds.
  • Memory of Perun: You’ll be able to see which enemies have their Super full, and which enemies are low on health.

The four factions in the game will also demand something from the players this week. Eris Morn is the only one who wants Worm Spores, whereas the Dead Orbit, New Monarchy, and Future War Cult require Helium Filaments. For more news on Destiny, watch this space.
